Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing long and MID-LENGTH tube headers for Chevy passenger cars for decades. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next.

These uncoated, MID-LENGTH tube headers are one of the most versatile headers Hedman Hedders manufacturers. While we've seen them on rare builds, like a SB Chevy equipped Studebaker, these MID-LENGTH headers are actually cataloged to fit Small Block Chevy V8 powered, 1967-81 Chevy Camaros; 1964-1987 GM A-Body and G-Body vehicles (Buick Regal, Chevy Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Olds Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix); '68-79 Chevy II and Nova. Heck, they even fit 1984-2004 Chevy AstroVans. These headers have smooth primary tubes with that step up from 1-5/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. diameter. The smaller diameter segment improves low-end torque, while the larger diameter segment improves torque at the higher end of the RPM range. The result is a broader torque band, plenty of exhaust flow to let your 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy.

These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures.

Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed.
